The intelligence layer for media localisation.
Origins
We’ve spent over two decades learning how stories travel.
It started with five subtitlers and a vision that craft and technology were never opposites.
Over twenty years, that conviction has shaped everything we’ve built. We grew alongside the streaming era, working with the platforms and studios that redefined how the world consumes content. We developed our own technology rather than adapting someone else’s. We acquired dubbing expertise, learned what the craft demands at its deepest level, and carried that knowledge forward into everything we build next.
Plint is not a company that arrived at localisation through automation. We came from inside it, from the linguists, the timecodes, the cultural nuances that no workflow can afford to miss.
That history is what makes our next step possible.
The shift
The industry measures quality.
We build it.
For most of the industry, quality is something you measure after the fact. You generate output, then you check it. You automate the process, then you fix what breaks. We believe that’s the wrong sequence.
The question was never how to move faster. It was how to understand more completely, before a single word is generated. When you build from understanding, everything that follows is better. Not corrected. Not approximated. Better, from the start.
This is the horizon we’ve been building toward.
Powered by Strata
Strata.
A different starting point.
Strata is the intelligence layer that powers everything we build. Before any output is generated, Strata builds a structured model of the content, the voices, the relationships, the meaning, the world the story comes from. Every deliverable follows from that understanding. This is not a better translation engine.
It is a different starting point entirely.
